Reunion

The situation had changed and Randy was alone again. Not to mention heading to, at best, a rough situation. Jerican aren’t exactly the most friendly of folk. And heading right into the hive of them all wasn’t the most well thought out things Randy had thought over it for a while. “bartender I need a drink.”
Mulling his thoughts over, Randolph was thinking of what some of the interrogated Jerican had told him. But the most interesting thing was that the whole deed seemed to lose its value as if it had entirely lost its meaning and was of no importance anymore and his attention had seemed to shift. Something more has to be going on.

“everyone clear out. we're closed.” Shuffling out a little disappointed that he wasn’t able to finish his water, Randy meandered into the distance.
well time to face the music. But first to make sure this thing is safe. Pulling out a medallion from his pocket Randy stared eerily at it. “what is it about you that has the Jerican so interested in you?” it had bothered him from the first day the at Damien (the first Jerican encounter) had lusted after it, and almost anyone who saw it afterward. So, to take extra precautions, in one of the distant towns Randy had a duplicate made and traded with Tamitha's while she slept.

“Dash it all! I’ll get to the bottom of this if it’s the last thing I do. I promise master Moomow”

Hiring a coach, Randolph scheduled a ride back to the monastery. Randy was looking for time to think and what better place then on the move, being able to rest and getting some great council from an old colleague. Yelling out the window, “Master Moomow I’m coming home!”

-After getting some sleep-

The sun was high and it was warm in the cabin of the carriage. Time was rather daunting being alone. Randy “hey what’s up?”
The driver responded with a scowl “Driving.”

Ouch, guess he is still bitter about the rigorous negotiations and isn’t wanting anything to do with me. its ok you’ll warm up Randy said to himself especially when he tries my monkish stew! … now just to wait till the next rest stop.
Eyes glazed over and staring off into the baron waste land noticed another carriage pass by. “Bonita!?! Driver! Driver! Follow that carriage!”

the driver responded with more distaste "what do I look like, a magician?"
“oh come on! Free stew!” the driver was unenthusiastic about Randy's bribe. “Alright-Alright! you do not have to take me all the way to the distant town, Just follow that Buggy.”
With a few mutters, the driver finally complied.

Randy's mind was now bubbling over with enthusiasm and questions: why was she dressed all up who’s that girls she’s with and is the shadowy figure Will? Popping his head out the window, Randolph was grinning like a Cheshire cat

  1. it would cost a lot to make a duplicate, though if he's got the money it's a good idea.
