After picking up the remains of Bruce's note, Gertrude and I discussed what the man had said.
"can you believe those two left us?! they just left us! And all they gave us was a name?!" Gertrude kept going on an on.
I don't know what she was so worried about. the man seemed sincere to me.
"I think we should trust him, especially since neither of us know how to get to West Port.
"What other choice do we have? Lord and Lady Dinli ditched us at the physician's home."
I gradually started feeling better as the day went on. We decided to return the physician's cart and meet the man in an hour. I was still a little unstable, so Gertie let me ride on her back. She was so good to me, like the sister I never had.
"I can't believe you let me carry on like that, I must've looked like a blithering idiot to those town people."
"Well, you will never see them again, so don't worry about it too much."
When we got to the gate, she set me on the ground. We didn't see the man, so we looked around. After a few minutes we decided to sit on the ground and wait for him, that is if he was ever going to show up.

oh, I figured since Mira has amnesia I would change her name.
ReplyDeleteAww... Does she recall her mission? Or is she kinda like Bourne, and has all of her training embeded in her subconsious, but doesnt remember what she was doing.

um, kind of like Bourne but I don't think she was that good to begin with :P
ReplyDeleteYeah, As a shadow she really isnt the best. But she could fend off most swordsman with a single blade(Thats my version of the Katana... Cause it only has the blade on one side). She also is fairly agile, due to her size.
