Bonita

I didn't know what to say. A new flood of emotions poured into me. My knees gave out and I dropped onto the bed (in a sitting position). I looked up at William, "Could you just give me a few minutes."

He nodded in understanding, and handed me some fresh clothes, "why don't you go take a relaxing bath. No one will disturb you there."

I thanked him, and then added, "let's not let Mira know when know who she is."

He gently helped me to my feet, then with his arm around my shoulder led me to the bathing room. It was exceptional. There was a pit under the tub to heat the water. I'd never had a warm bath before, but it was easy enough to figure out.

There were small candles lining the tub, and some scented oils to help me relax. Soon the room was filled with a lilac fog.

(in the tub)With a towel rolled under my neck, and a cloth over my eyes, this was the most relaxed I had ever been in my whole life. My muscles loosened and I found myself drifting to sleep.

When I awoke, the room was very cold and most of the candles had gone out. (after getting out and wrapping a towel around myself)As I used the last candle to light the others, I thought I saw someone in the corner of the room. I gasped as I pulled the towel tighter around me, "who's there?"

  1. comment correction: there are no windows in the room, it is during the day. I will let you guys decide who is there (if anyone) and where the others are.
