Nila

I smirked as they dropped him at my feet. I raised an eyebrow as a question came to mind, "What happened to Randolph. He was leaving town last I knew."

"He was attacked by mercenaries," The two men clad in black stood before her. The bigger one was talking. "He got away and is somewhere inside the city still and some of the mercenaries got away. There were at least fifty of them."

"Did we lose anyone?"

He shook his head, "Only a few minor injuries and one idiot cut himself."

I scratched my head, I needed these friends of Will's on my side. They were much better than the average moron I had at my disposal. If it wasn't for the few good soldiers I still had I probably would have lost the captive.

He stirred in his sleep and I kicked him awake. I looked back to the men watching me, "Dismissed."

They left the room and the leeran opened his eyes and looked up at me. He looked around quickly and pushed back in horror, realizing we were alone.

I grinned, "Don't worry. You know how this works since I taught you myself. You talk and I don't have to waste a few days making you talk."

He grit his teeth, "They'll come for me."

My grin grew. I leaned closer and whispered in his ear, "Then you must be far more important than I previously knew. I'll make sure you don't die before you remember things you didn't think it was possible to remember."

He attacked, throwing a right hook. I ducked underneath and gave him a hard kick to the pants. I followed with a kick to the side of his head. He hit the floor and moaned. I dragged him into the next room and attached the chains to his body.

"I don't have time to waste playing with you Richard. Let's get down to business."
