Lord Dinli

"I'm not sure why exactly you'd be waiting for my bodyguard," I said as I came out of the bathroom in my casual attire. "But I sent him out on some errands."

"I'm not sure if you remember me young lady," I bowed slightly to Amber. "But it's nice to meet your acquaintance when you aren't somewhat delusional."

Just then a shadowed figure entered the room from the window and the three women jumped, "Hello William."

He didn't speak he only nodded in acknowledgment. I grinned, "Anyways, why did you come through the window? That's very strange, all of you. The door works just fine." I sat down in one of the sofa chairs and rang the bell for room service.

"Make yourselves comfortable," I gestured to the other chairs. "Oh, and I'm sorry if you disapprove of this hotel. It's the best I could find on short notice, but since it costs about as much as your weight in gold to get a room here. I don't think you should look so disapprovingly." I responded to Amber's obvious disapproval.

They were all three too stunned to respond, for a moment.

"Oh Gertrude," I said looking at her. "Sorry I gave you that letter it must have slipped my mind at the time. I know you only just recently came into my employ but I hope you don't mind that I hired a personal tutor, unless you'd prefer I make time in my schedule to teach you myself."

I smiled kindly at her as I stood up and stepped closer. Taking one of her hands in mine I said, "Do forgive me, I wouldn't have left if I'd realized she could be released so quickly. I didn't expect you to get here for a week from now or more." I kissed her hand gently and waited for her response.

(No he's not flirting with her, at least not intentionally, he's just being formal and kind as Lord Dinli is.)

  1. Wait, I thought you said in your last post that he left, and wrote a note to Cordell. Anyway, they "all" didn't come through the window. just two of us. how come he didn't even acknowledge Bonnie, just Mira? anyway, that'll just stir up more angry feelings, lol.

  2. oh no he did leave, he just snuck in a different way to get cleaned up after his running around the city.

it's called lying, anyways he didn't talk to Bonita because he was busy covering up the mess they had nearly made that would have been revealing his identity
