A Dark Man, continued

He rode slowly up to the gate and saw the women sitting there waiting for him. He was pleased, but didn't let his expression show it.

"Good day ladies," He said as he brought the wagon to a halt. "I guess this means you've made up your minds." He helped them both aboard the wagon, "Don't worry. It will take a little while to get to Westport, but I'll make sure you get there."

(Yes, I know, extremely short. He is not a man of many words.)
