Bonita

so much for using code names. Though, I figured Amber had already known our real names. I had watched the fight from a relatively safe distance. I knew the Leeran was not dead (hence my reasoning of asking what to do with his body). So while the others started to feel the effects of his poison I tied him up tightly with strips of wood I had pulled from the trees while they fought. Like Randy, I had anticipated the need for interrogation.

Amber and Randy lay nearly lifeless on the ground. The only thing Randy could do was plead for my help. I didn't quite know what to do. After a moments thought, I opted to put them both in the Carriage as Randy suggested. But what to do with the Leeran? I needed Will's help. It was hard enough getting two people into the carriage with a bum arm. I was glad my chief had used Hawk's eye on us (his warriors) to make us immune to it's effects. I only wish I had seen the fiend coming when he hit the nerve in my arm to make it go numb.

should I tie him behind the carriage and drag him to West Port? the thought was tempting. no, I'll just tie him to one of the horses. The man struggled to be free.

"what do you intend to do with me, you savage?! There's nothing you can do to make me talk."
"Don't tempt me!" I spat back as I dragged him to the front of the carriage by the neck of his shirt.

I threw the end of the rope over the horse and used it as a pulley to lift the man. I didn't care if he was completely on top of the horse or not, so he ended up halfway on. I Then grabbed some more homemade rope and wrapped it around him and the horse.

After securing the ropes very tightly, I patted him on the back and said with a smirk "enjoy your ride."

I walked to the carriage to make sure I had also secured Amber and Randy so they wouldn't fall out the back, then I climbed to the drivers seat. I hope this isn't too different from riding a horse. I shrugged and grabbed the reins tightly with my good hand. I then gave them a good jerk and a hearty "YAH!" We were off, speeding through the trees at breakneck speed.

I could hear the others moaning as we whipped around curves that jumbled them, but there was no time to waste, I had to get to Will before the effects of this evil poison killed my comrades.

**the natives were most likely the ones who helped Lar create the substance to begin with since they had great knowledge of herbs and their effects. Also, I would think that Bonita would have made a lot of rope while they journeyed through the woods, because she would have anticipated the need for it later.***

  1. Sounds good. I may take it a step farther. Most of the drugs that Lord Lar produced came from an alchemy lab under the dark districts. Dr. Leveret is the head alchemist and a bit of a lune. We could say that Dr. Leveret comes from tribal decent. Maybe he is a half and half. Sound Good?
