"Don't be alarmed Bonita," I whispered from the shadows. I tossed some clothes on the floor in front of her and pointed to a curtain. "Get dressed I need you."

She hesitated on moving and I scratched my forehead, "Look I don't exactly have time for games, I need you to decipher some tribal runes I assumed you may have been taught about given your background. If you aren't the person for the job than that's fine I'll go someplace else."

"How did you get in here?" She finally asked as she grabbed the clothes and moved behind the curtain to put them on.

"Secret passageway," I answered. "Nearly every building in this city has them since I control the construction companies."

"If you own so much why the need for secret passages."

"I never said I owned them," I grinned at the silence. "I control them, it's much easier than you think."

I moved to one of the walls and gently pushed on it, "Come on they will be checking on you soon, you've been in here for hours."

"Shouldn't we tell Will at least about this?" Bonita asked.

"Oh he already knows a great deal more than he lets on," I smirked. "But I think he told you some of it." The wall slid open and the room lit up as there was a still lit torch in the passage. I moved into the passage and turned back, "Are you coming or staying?"
