Bonita… Randy… Cordell… William? The charade of Nobility wore off quickly after Randy met with us. Character flaws bled through everyone’s imaginative roles. Randy is horribly naive in conversation, almost as if he had grown up in a sheltered religious institution; hardly the attitude of a seasoned merchant. Bonita’s attitude showed no hint of the humility required to be a low-class handmaid. And if Cordell is a lady then she would not be staying in this below-par room. Not that it really matters, I have no intention of bringing harm to any of them and I think they know that they can trust me now.
It made me unhappy when Randy left us. Yes, he was odd sometimes, but he was always upbeat and was very sweet whenever he spoke to me. I might also add that he was fairly attractive. But from what I could tell by his body language, I don’t think he liked the way I handled the Leeran.
I suppose my training caused me to react. It is difficult to be gentle or caring when someone has tried to kill you. Why am I feeling guilty? No one was doing anything. No one was reacting. No one else was moving to stop the Leeran from escaping. Geez, Why do I even care what the others think? I mean the only one that did offer any compliment was some old woman, whose opinion I don’t really care for.
When is this William getting back? Cordell’s yakking is starting to put me on edge. Just something about her inflection and pronunciation annoys the jitters out of me.

it is difficult to tell from the first part whether or not you realize she has her full memory restored. She knows all of their real names but none of them know hers. She is keeping on the charade so the others continue to trust her. Randy is cute, eh? lol
ReplyDeleteI know she has her memory restored, but even when she was given the assainment by Shilon, she was given the order to follow the keeper of the madalion not any specific names. She did not know William's name, Randy's, and Bonita's until just recently.
