in the carriage

The girls left there carriage and shuffled into Randy's. The shadowy figure looked displeased at the occurrence. Arnold (Randy) looked back waiting for the slightest hint of aggressive behavior, this man was likely to be a Jerican (though admittedly he was very conspicuous) could it be a double bluff?

“Oh, don’t be doll, Gertrude, servant of my brother… Call me Rex, my middle name.” if Randy was going to have another alias it, by George, was going to be a good one (Arnold Rex Carnigin the magnificent? Could work).

Breaking the facade “you do know he won't remember a thing by tonight right?” Rex held up two canisters of strange powders, “little mementos from some friends”

Shifting his attention “who’s the girl?” Amber seemed a little discomforted when he looked penetratingly into her eyes. She also had the demeanor of a Jerican with something else. Oh, Randy those weeks of Jerican hunting, has made you paranoid.

Looking back at Bonita “what’s with the civil clothes, last I knew you were running around with a tomahawk in your mouth yellin’-.” Seeing that Bonita was still a little uncomfortable with the blatant disregard for formal custom. She glared piercingly at him and he reworded the question.

“I mean you were knee high to grasshoppers then, and my gambling excuse of a noble brother how is he doing these days? good I hope.”
Bargity, these guys are no fun. Very grown up.
Rex had forgotten how much of a prune Gertrude was. That’s what I get for being spoiled with childlike spontaneity, for months on end.

“Well, girls don’t be shy. Inform me of everything.” Looking out the window, Rex wasn’t sure if that would be the last he would see of the shadowy carriage driver.
