Ever since we got to West Port Will started acting strangely. I was sure Nila had a lot to do with it. He seemed more distant, more distracted. Then Bonita came back into the picture. Things were starting to click into place. He missed her, and was worried for her safety. He had confided in me a few nights ago about his fears of this spy and what she might do to Bonita once she regained her memory.
She (Mira)listened quietly as I flirted with William's guard (hoping to get some information from him), she seemed harmless. Not at all the way William had described her. How did he know anything about her anyway?
My eye twitched a little when I saw Will lead Bonita into his chamber, but I tried not to let it get to me. I knew there couldn't be anything romantic going on between them, but I hated that they were keeping secrets from me. Maybe they aren't going to keep it from me, but are using me to occupy this spy?
"Can you believe those two? She's not even been here five minutes and they already need to be alone." I forced a joke. The others gave me a pity laugh, but they could see the hurt in my eyes.
Please visit the sister site to light in the darkness and post your character's background and information there before posting on the story. You may also post descriptions of weapons (land dragons, etc) or places there. Your background doesn't have to be as lengthy as Snim's. Please read the interlude (there) and storyline posts (on this blog) before entering the story.

Interesting... Jealousy is a dish best served... rare and bloody, baby.
