I don't know what got into me. When I first spied the evil Leeran I became scared and a little anxious, but once he stepped out of the woods and into the light of the fire something kicked in. I was fighting him with ease, dodging every blow and swinging my arms and legs at just the right moment. But, alas, it wasn't enough. He was able to dodge a lot of my blows as well (and I wasn't strong enough to really do any damage). I need that sword! I did a back handspring (which I didn't even know I could do) and landed by the carriage. I grabbed the sword just in time. After killing off our driver, the Leeran was headed for me next. Rex assisted me in combat, but Gertrude seemed reluctant and stayed out of the way. She would only fight if the man came near her. Perhaps she's not as well trained as I thought.
After several minutes, Rex and I had conquered our enemy. "What should we do with the bodies?" Gertrude asked.
"Burn them." Rex and I said in unison. He raised an eyebrow at me, but said nothing.
Exhausted emotionally and physically from the fight, I sat on a log by the fire and began to weep. I am so week. If Shi--oh whatever his name is--if he saw me he would be very ashamed. What is his name? I looked up abruptly, some more pieces of the puzzle had come together. "We need to get back with the others as soon as possible. Their lives are in danger. Cor--uh, Thelma has something that they want. We need to help protect her." I was hoping they hadn't heard my slip, otherwise my cover was blown. They would know my memory was returning to me. I needed to keep up this facade a little longer. Gertrude was beginning to trust me, and though her fighting skills are terrible, she could still be a very important asset to our cause.

You may also post descriptions of weapons (land dragons, etc) or places there. Your background doesn't have to be as lengthy as Snim's. Yea!!! Deana posted. What a story. Amber is one fightin' babe. That was... epic. I had no idea that they could take on a full fledged Leeran. Maybe they have a force bond, Like in KOTOR. Thats how they could say the same thing at the same time. Or maybe they are soulmates and have that romantic completion of killing eachother's opponents. Maybe they are just super sayens. Yeah thats my vote.
ReplyDeleteyou are very strange
ReplyDeleteand how does Randy feel about all this soul mate talk?
ReplyDeleteactually, they both said "burn them" because that's what their trainers had told them. "leave no evidence" plus, we can't have dead bodies laying around everywhere.
ReplyDeleteWell I talked to Leto/Luke and he is down with the sickness regarding soul mates, but I like how they were trained similarly.
