Randy was looking down at a stain on his shirt, rather saddened. The maid had been helpful with the note telling him where the medallion was but it almost seemed malicious when she purred the perfume on him, he just jumped and it got every where. potato I'll have to make it up to that maid. The fat one too. boy she went off in a huff. not to mention that they rushed off and didn't finish laundry. At least Randy was still friends with Vahn.
Throwing his reeking bag over his shoulder with that putrid flower scent all over his new shirt. definitely have to make it up to the both of them (the maids). Might as well stop by the slender one's house first. Randy went over to a flower shop and bought some flowers. “Girls always like these things.” Randy might as well leave a good impression at least till he had to head off to the distant land, his room and board was already set up by Vahn Grey, that's where the note he'd written himself had said the medallion was (though he didn't know it was a lie).
Just leaving the hotel Randy stretched and walked down a ally unnoticed. “Vahn Grey, make sure you take care of Tamitha. I have things to take care of.”
A few blocks later. . .“Aw where did the beggar go? I have some change now.”

why do you insist on going out alone? I left you an opening, you were supposed to meet up with us, not Taber. And why on earth would Nila send the medallion to another town??

ReplyDeleteThe beggar part was funny, but I dont think that Vahn Grey's hotel was near the dark districts... Cause that is where the beggar would have been. Now correct me if I'm wrong, Is vahn Grey's Hotel near the Dark District?

ReplyDeleteRandy's half of the medallion is in the fire place just out side of town. but when he used the stuff to befuddle his memory he wrote a note telling him that it was across the sea (a lie). also he traveled a long way away from the hotel to get to or near the pesky maidens homes.
ReplyDeletealso he traveled a long way from the beach to the bar that's when he passed by the beggar the first time(mind you it was implied along with all the travel time)
also if amber used her investigative work, her being a spy and all. she could totally decipher were randy had gone, or at ask the flower shop guy.
why did randy give up on the deed?
