Building up of Epicness

"I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive..." Damien had to keep telling himself. He thought that the beast was in front of him now, possibly already at the ball.

His survival instinct was wanting to find a nice corner but his pride was fighting. The beast can be yours, all you have to do is contain the beast until all the delegates are there. his mind continued to phase as he continued onward. Until he was at the vary door of the beast. It seemed to stare mindlessly threw the window, almost picking its prey.

"Beast! You and me are kind of alike." kicking a rock up from off the ground and slinging it towards the noggin of the brute. "the only difference, I have intelligence."

Disgruntled at the interruption of his meal, Taber looked over. "not yet my pretty. but soon." the beast bellowed and ran towards Damien. Escaping up walls an ladders, Damien flew, vertical was harder for the beast and Damien needed every advantage till he could let the beast feast.

--Back to the kitchen--
Franky looked over when he heard the strange howl, holding a massive plate of jell-o bits and fish chips, against his hip as his boss continued to orchestrate the masses. "Franky, get the orderves out there," "check sorry" he replied waddling out into the crowd balancing now two big plates. "ordervs for you two lovely ladies?"

Another kind man came out and offered more food, Mira was both overjoyed and kind of sick "Fish" Tamitha retorted. But to Mira it wasn't the fish. But the lavish decor of the area the contrast was frightening compared to the dark districts, on the other hand being there was absolutely fantastic. The quota of food had been filled in a matter of 20 minutes, Tamitha's cello case almost to the brim and Mira's trombone case already begining to way her down.

Tamitha pulled on the skirt of Mira and whispered "go mingle."a little bewildered at the command but comforted at the sassy little Lady Margret's smile. she ventured forward, she was getting used to getting out of her comfort zone especially hanging out with Randy.

Easily merging into a group, all the boys complementing her. Asking what's her aspirations were- she had to lie, she never quite thought of things like that before. Normally her life was devoted to the order of peace of madness. Boy she never wished to see them again. Right now she was content on being around friends fixing up Randy, getting him healed. Who knows where life would take the group then.

Another waiter came by offering drinks she took one, everyone took one. And feeling socially pressured Lady Tallulah grabbed one as well. And drank the bitter swill. She may have drank too fast as the circle of group still had there glasses sipping, they paused for a moment after she belched. "excuse me." changing the subject, the group continued though not segregating. but it was awkward after that. A passing waiter smirked. And offered another round of drinks.

Tamitha was quite happy sitting on her little perch watching Mira or should I say lady Tallulah mingle with the crowd. Her growth was exponential. But they had to get out of there quickly or- "pardon miss. The men are ready for your solo." Mira's eyes bugged as she was being informed at the same time. Biting her lower lip. She looked across the hall. Tamitha just waved as they both were being escorted to the stage.

Gah! Mira wasn't sure if it was the bubbles going to her head or the stress of a thousand people all focusing in on her but she knew-"its alright you'll be fine" Franky comforted holding out his hand to help her onto stage, "when your performance is over, do you mind if I call on you?"

Forgetting all about the crowd, Tamitha and the whole world. Mira's mind analyzed the situation. The man Franky, his name was on his lapel, had been snatching glimpses at her all night. The delegates were all nearly here. The guard ration was naturally high. Escape would not be easy.- "I'll get your answer later." as Mira was sat down onto the one stage chair then handed her trombone case. From her left hand was taken her beverage. Lights focused and the crowd went silent.

  1. I thought everyone was dead!! Thank you so much, Luke, for posting! I absolutely adored the post.

Is this Franky the same as Franklin?

Do I smell a possible method of escape? Riding free with a sympathetic or possibly infatuated Jerican Lieutenant?
