I was a littler relieved when the handsome guard left me. I needed to get out of that place before any thing else happened. a few moments later I heard a crash and screams. Then Will and Bonnie appeared next to me. As they explained what happened, a strange native boy came rushing up to us. He Told us some guards were chasing him and implied that we should run. With Will in the lead, we rushed down the dark corridors.

I don't know who this kid was, but he was sure getting on Will's nerves. It was funny. Will obviously wanted to be the leader of our group, but this kid kept butting in and acting like he was in charge. After what seemed like hours, a new leader stopped us. Everything was quiet. Maybe a little too quiet. Though, I welcomed the rest.

I sat on the damp floor by this kid as Will and Bonnie disappeared into the darkness. "So what's your story?" I asked him. It was unusual for me to talk to someone my own age, let alone a boy.

"Anuja. Bon's brother, came to bring her back to our tribe to be our military leader. You?"

"Mira. I was spying on Bonnie and Will, but I am now released from my duty."

He gave me an odd look, "why is that? I mean, why were you spying and how come you don't have to anymore?"

"Long story short, a girl they were with had something I was supposed to be protecting. She was taken away from them into captivity. I met up with Will's partner and fell in love. So my master cut me off."

"Oh, " he bowed his head, "if it's the girl I'm thinking of, she's dead. They freed her from captivity, but then she took an arrow for William. Apparently there was a love triangle."

"Yes, he was pretending to be the other girl's husband."

"Weird. So where's his partner now?"

I gasped, I had forgotten about Randy's current situation, "Oh no! He laid up in bed from being mutilated by the creature that lives under the city. We've got to get back to him soon, Will suspects there's something amiss with the little girl who was helping me take care of him."

"Little girl? I nearly tripped over a little girl on my way over here. How strange. But honestly, what harm can a little girl do?"
