Mira

As I was searching for something suitable to eat, I noticed Will and Bonita. They had a strange child with them. I was about to go over and join them, when they abruptly got up and ran away. The little girl's face fell as she burst into tears. What cruel beings! and to think I was about to trust them! I rushed over to her, "what did those two say to you?"

"Just that...that...they don't want me around! They think I'm a pest! They ditched me so they could go make out somewhere!"

"That's terrible! You're coming with me! We don't need them. Besides, I know someone who needs some cheering." I quickly grabbed some fresh bread and whatever else I could buy with little money.

--back to the hotel--
"Randy, I brought someone. . ." the little girl's eyes lit up and she ran into the room before I could finish.

She jumped on the bed and started yelling, "Randy! Randy, it's you!!"

I grabbed her arm and pulled her off the bed, as poor Randy cringed in pain, "He'd got a broken leg and some broken ribs. Jumping is not good for him right now. Sit in this chair while I get the food ready for him. Do you want anything to eat?"

"nope, I'm good thanks. That's the one thing they did before ditching me."

Randy raised an eyebrow, he didn't know what had just happened or how Tamitha came to be in Mira's company, but he was relieved, "who?" was all he could muster.

"Will and Bonnie, they ditched her so they could be alone! Disgusting!" Mira growled from the other side of the room. She then handed him a plate of bread and butter with a little jam, "it's all I could afford at the moment." She carefully helped Randy sit and piled pillows under his head.

"Thank ye kindly!"

The three of us sat together and laughed as Randy and Tamitha swapped tales of their latest adventures.
