stupid girl, well you're on your own. I am not going after you. I heard a familiar groan coming from beneath me in the pile of bodies.
"my hand." he croaked.
"Randy!" I pulled him from the pile, glad he was alive.
"the beast...is he gone?" another voice bellowed from the pile.
"yes, but he moves quickly, so we must hurry. I grabbed Randy and draped him over my shoulders. He was very weak. As we started down the dark tunnels I heard a voice coming from the darkness, "where do you think you're going?"
"Master?" I nearly dropped Randy, "this man needs my help."
"who cares? you have work to do."
I felt torn. Should I leave this sweet man to die and do my master's bidding?
"No." I heard myself say. what are you doing, you fool? he'll kill you. "I don't care what you say, I am taking him out of here." Suddenly my loyalty had changed.
