I was so relieved that Will had found me. I was overcome with emotion as he held me in his arms. I didn't want to move, it was as if the whole world stood still, no one existed but us. Nothing mattered anymore. I looked up at him, his eyes sparkled in the moonlight. My heart nearly jumped out of my chest when he looked back, deeply into my eyes. Piercing into my soul. He grabbed my chin and pulled my face close to his. I closed my eyes, awaiting the touch of his soft lips to mine.
*giggle*
What? I opened my eyes and turned towards the sound. There was a strange little child spying on us from the bushes.
"Were you gonna kiss her, mister?" Will looked dejected.
"What do you want?" I asked, a little annoyed myself.
"Name's Tamitha. I was searching for my friend, Randy. He sent for me."
"Well, he's not here. You shouldn't be out by yourself this time of night. It's not safe." Will admonished her.
"Ok, I will stay with you then. You will protect me, I heard you tell her that."
