"Fools! what part of stay hidden during the day didn't they understand?" I thought to myself as I watched one man prepare food while the other wandered off into the wilderness in the direction of the old barn. "They're likely to get killed if they keep up this kind of behavior. Though, I haven't had meat in months and that smells very inviting." I crept out of my tunnel, checking for any spies. Seeing none, I recovered my entryway and slowly and quietly walked towards the mysterious monk, who didn't act like any of the other monks I had encountered before. Perhaps he was only disguised as a monk.
He turned around slowly, as if he expected me, and held out a handful of meat. I hesitated to take it, so he took a bite himself and offered again.
Not a word was spoken between us as we ate our meat and watched the other monk in the distance. A girl suddenly appeared next to him, "oh no!" I thought "he'll give away our location." I was about to run, but then I looked to his comrade to see what he thought we should do.
Please visit the sister site to light in the darkness and post your character's background and information there before posting on the story. You may also post descriptions of weapons (land dragons, etc) or places there. Your background doesn't have to be as lengthy as Snim's. Please read the interlude (there) and storyline posts (on this blog) before entering the story.

sorry, I didn't know what to post that's why it took me so long. I did a little writing for you Jon, hope you don't mind. I can't remember if our characters ever "officially met" do they know each other's names? keep in mind that my character is very weary of strangers, that is why she is worried about Randy talking to a milk maid.
ReplyDeletergr and yes he did introduce himself but she didn't reply to it and might have missed it completely
