“Ow!” yelped Randy as the doctor finished off the last stitch. “you’re lucky you survived. I hear that not many made it back from the forest this time.”
Keeping silent as he (Randy) didn’t know how to respond to that. The DR. continuing as if he did reply “yeah we'll get someone to put whiskey on that in the morning and STOP FIDGETING WITH THE BANDAGE!
Rather sheepish, Randy looked away. “Be sure to come back in the morning” “yes sir” Randy replied.
The doctor mildly agitated, meandered off. Leaving Randy to look about the city to pass away the time.
“Where is he, the only survivor?” bellowed the commander.
“Well, he’s most definitely in shock. He should be fine to talk about it in the morning. We don’t want to overwhelm the kid.” the doctor reported.
Commander: “we need that information now. There’s--"
The doctor interrupted “sir don’t persist. I had my doubts when you opened up positions on the security shift for 14 and up. ” Muttering under his breath something about Bartholomew’s overwhelming acceptances. “Sir we can’t keep going on like this.”
Commander: “look Dr. Bevil. That was more of a publicity stunt, but at the moment we have no other options. Bartholomew’s just itching for the chance to smother a small town like this to make an example… even more so now that we lost sight of the medallion…”

Else where , Randolph was meandering around town not sure if he should run back to Will or if it would be better to-“Oooo, shinny!” Randy was enjoying seeing the new sights and sounds. Living in a monastery does shelter you quite a bit. The older people in town seemed to be laiden with worry but the youthful generation seemed oblivious to the impoverish city and it's cares and woes. “guess they know nothing better.” It was odd to see how human these people were especially after the forest. Randy could still see plums.
The society was fairly unified and sticking together helping pay off each other’s debts. Avoiding the debters prison and mustering a bit of a life for there children.
“You there, Commander Crooks is ready to see you”

I did a little revising. they didn't have ointment or band aids.
ReplyDeletelol
ReplyDeletewhen you say they, are you refering to people in general back then or this game specifically. becasue if its not set in stone... yay ^_^ it can be whatever we want!
ReplyDeletehey D totaly we need to text. catch up and all that cool stuff 8D
Luke band aids are a brand of bandage and ointment, technically the Chinese at the same time in history had ointment and sed it for healing but meh
ReplyDeleteforgot the u in used
ReplyDeleteI am not up to speed in my history, so if Jon says you can have ointment than you can have ointment. I just think that since they are a starving army they wouldn't have such luxuries. you can email me all you want, Luke, text messages are too expensive. I have skype, too, silly. and MSN and facebook chat, and maybe even yahoo chat if I look really hard.
ReplyDeleteOh look up Wilsk on skype, but no even tho they COULD have ointment, they wouldnt use it on a lowly peon :P I was just being fecicious(sp?)
ReplyDeletethat's what I figured. In those days whiskey or something like it was commonly used, I believe.
