Please visit the sister site to light in the darkness and post your character's background and information there before posting on the story. You may also post descriptions of weapons (land dragons, etc) or places there. Your background doesn't have to be as lengthy as Snim's. suggestion for Luke

we can keep the guy the way you have him, but you mentioned that things weren't the right color. you can try to find things in the right color if you want. He doesn't really look like a monk as he is now, but he is your character and you can dress him as you wish and change him whenever you want. That goes for everyone. If you want to change your character just let me know. Post the new character and I will replace the old one. Feel free to make Lar's dad. is the doctor an important character?

West Port

I request the Co-Authors to permit me to create the permanent location of West Port. Characters may speak of it, go there, even destroy it; I only wish to be able to define it and describe what kind of a place it is.

West Port is a massive city, being 4th in size and 3rd in population of Bartholemew’s cities, won over by Lord Bartholemew during “The Great Turn of Events”. It is also Lord Bartholemew’s head port on the western coast of the Great Sea. It is located at the south-western tip of Bartholemew’s kindom. It is ruled over by Lord Henry Gilden Lar, Sir Henry Tolgen Lar’s father.

West Port was recreated after the war to show an exquisite metropolis. It is a mirage that shows the surrounding countries its thriving economy, its happy people, and its liberal entertainments and art. The truth of the matter is that Lord Bartholemew pumps the tax money from its people to supply this ideal society with its much glamour.

Definition will be built upon...

randy

“Ow!” yelped Randy as the doctor finished off the last stitch. “you’re lucky you survived. I hear that not many made it back from the forest this time.”

Keeping silent as he (Randy) didn’t know how to respond to that. The DR. continuing as if he did reply “yeah we'll get someone to put whiskey on that in the morning and STOP FIDGETING WITH THE BANDAGE!

Rather sheepish, Randy looked away. “Be sure to come back in the morning” “yes sir” Randy replied.
The doctor mildly agitated, meandered off. Leaving Randy to look about the city to pass away the time.

“Where is he, the only survivor?” bellowed the commander.
“Well, he’s most definitely in shock. He should be fine to talk about it in the morning. We don’t want to overwhelm the kid.” the doctor reported.

Commander: “we need that information now. There’s--"

The doctor interrupted “sir don’t persist. I had my doubts when you opened up positions on the security shift for 14 and up. ” Muttering under his breath something about Bartholomew’s overwhelming acceptances. “Sir we can’t keep going on like this.”

Commander: “look Dr. Bevil. That was more of a publicity stunt, but at the moment we have no other options. Bartholomew’s just itching for the chance to smother a small town like this to make an example… even more so now that we lost sight of the medallion…”

---

Else where , Randolph was meandering around town not sure if he should run back to Will or if it would be better to-“Oooo, shinny!” Randy was enjoying seeing the new sights and sounds. Living in a monastery does shelter you quite a bit. The older people in town seemed to be laiden with worry but the youthful generation seemed oblivious to the impoverish city and it's cares and woes. “guess they know nothing better.” It was odd to see how human these people were especially after the forest. Randy could still see plums.

The society was fairly unified and sticking together helping pay off each other’s debts. Avoiding the debters prison and mustering a bit of a life for there children.

“You there, Commander Crooks is ready to see you”

Clarification...

I get the outstanding privilege of keeping the blog straight for everyone. We, the characters William, Bonita and Randolph, are on the western side of the mountains, there are several countries that way outside of Bartholomew's direct influence and that is why he only sends small numbers in at a time.

He doesn't want a war with the whole world, because he isn't stupid. That's why he wants the secret weapons cache to use to take over the world. It'd be a whole lot easier that way.

Anyways yes, they are not in Bartholomew's country at the moment and Sir Lar (I believe that's right) had his interests along the mountains and obviously, being a businessman of great renown, would hear about something as big as most of a forest being burned to the ground in a wildfire. But yes, Bartholomew is not going to be pleased that they did not find the amulet where it was supposed to be and he will take it out on somebody...

Any questions leave a comment and I'll address it and this post is entirely player knowledge, if you don't know what that means. Ask me.
